Information on accessibility on the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn railway

You can travel with us despite limited mobility

To assist people with a limited mobility to travel autonomously all our railway stations are being reconstructed and we have new rolling stock with low-floor access.

On some of the routes on the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn autonomous access is already in place. For example, the shuttle between Täsch and Zermatt. Most of the trains between Visp and Zermatt have low-floor access and the stations along these routes have been reconstructed accordingly. On other routes travel is not yet possible or only by prior notification.

Here we can give you more information about travel on our network.
