Parking with direct connection to shuttle train to Zermatt
Travelling to car-free Zermatt is easy. Use the Parking Matterhorn Terminal garage in Täsch and board directly onto a Zermatt shuttle train. This will bring you from Täsch to Zermatt and a train to the Matterhorn village departs every 20 minutes. In just 12 minutes you will reach Zermatt.
Practical information
The Matterhorn Terminal offers the following services for 356 days a year:
Parking Facility: Ticket and information counters, 4 cash machines.
Railway counters for tickets, subscriptions, leisure offers, and currency exchange.
Four railway ticket machines for shuttle tickets, Gornergrat Railway, and Matterhorn Paradise ski tickets.
12 luggage trolley stations: Individual luggage can conveniently and for free be transported using luggage trolleys on the shuttle (deposit CHF 5.00).
Free luggage service for bus travelers (registration required by 4:00 PM the day before,
Spacious restroom facilities.
Numerous additional services such as a kiosk, bistro, grocery shop, lockers, and ATM.
Parking spaces for motorcycles; parking rates in parking are the same as for cars, outside for free.
10 parking spaces for guests with limited mobility, three of which have charging stations. Parking rates are the same as for all parking spaces, charging is free (after registration at the parking facility counter).
Free "Kiss & Ride" (drop-off point) for cars and buses in the outdoor area (maximum 30 minutes).
Shuttle trains to Zermatt every 20 minutes, with a direct connection to the town center of Zermatt.

Timetable
The Zermatt Shuttle runs daily from 05:55 to 21:55 every 20 minutes. In addition, during the week every hour until 01:00, Thursday-Saturday every hour, all night. Here you can find the complete Timetable.

FAQ - find answers to your questions
You can book your parking space directly online. Online booking is possible up to one day before your arrival. It guarantees you a free space on arrival. You can enter and leave the car park at any time during your booked stay. Choose whether you need a parking space with or without an e-charging station. Choose your arrival and departure date. When booking online, the date always counts, you cannot specify times. To open the barrier with the number plate recognition, enter the number plate of your vehicle when booking. If you are coming with a rental car or do not know the licence plate number for some other reason, select QR code in the top left-hand corner of the licence plate step when booking. You can then hold this QR code up to the reader at the entrance barrier and use it to open it. You will receive the QR code by e-mail in your booking confirmation for each booking. Keep the QR-Code until after your departure. If the number plate recognition does not work, you can open the barrier with the QR code.
The booking cannot be cancelled or refunded.
The reservation and the voucher with the printed QR code are only valid within the booked duration.
If you park for longer than you have booked, you must extend the ticket at the cash desk or the automatic pay station and pay the outstanding amount before leaving the car park. Please note that there is no payment option at the exit (barrier).
If you park for a shorter time than booked, you will not receive a refund.
If you arrive later than booked, you will not receive a refund. You can enter the car park during the entire reservation period. It is possible to leave and re-enter the car park several times during the booked period.
If you arrive too early, you cannot enter the car park with the number plate recognition or QR code. Take a ticket from the entry machine. Contact our staff at the cash desk before departure. They will help you.
When booking, you have the option of taking out cancellation insurance. You will then receive a full refund in the event of illness or death.
No, you can also pull a parking ticket on-site at the entrance and find an available spot.
In this case, please pay the parking fee before leaving the parking garage at one of the four machines or at the parking counter. Payment can be made in cash or with major cards at the machines around the clock. However, parking fees cannot be paid with Rekacheque/Rekakarte.
You can park for as long as you need.

The car park is equipped with 131 state-of-the-art electric charging stations. When booking your parking space, you can select that you need a charging station.
The electric charging stations are equipped with a type 2 plug and 7 m cable and up to 22 kW charging power. Electricity consumption is billed individually. The E-Zone is located on the upper floor.
Payment (CHF 4.00 per charge and 65 Rp./kWh) is made via QR code / NFC tag at the charging stations. Accepted payment methods: credit card, TWINT, SMS, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
You do not have to move your electric vehicle after charging. You can leave it in the chosen parking space during your stay.
The maximal vehicle height is 2.30m.
Vehicles higher than 2.30 metres can park in the P2/Schali outdoor car park in summer (1 May to 1 October) and in the Umschlag/Bahnhofplatz in winter (1 October to 1 May).
You can park your motorbike in the parking. The parking rates are the same as for car parking. As long as available, there are also free motorbike parking spaces on the Umschlag/Bahnhofplatz.
