The zones for bike transport on the trains, where there are hooks or platforms to stand the bikes on, are marked on the doors with a bike pictogram
Use the provided fixtures to secure your bike on board
Make sure your bike is not blocking an entrance
Emergency exits and entrances and exits must always be kept free for safety reasons

Self-loading your bike without the Bike&Rail offer
If you are only transporting your bike over a short distance buy a normal, half-price-fare train ticket, 2nd class.
Should this ticket cost more than CHF 15.00 then it is worth buying a bike day-ticket. With this ticket you can take your bike on board all day.
If you often travel with your bike on public transport we recommend you buy a Velopass / bike pass. One year costs CHF 260.00
