The car transport at the Oberalp Pass is suspended

After more than 40 years, the car train on the Oberalp Pass did cease operations. As much as the "little brother" of the Furka car transporter has acquired its very own charm, especially in the regions of Urserntal and Surselva, it is not economically viable. It was therefore decided to discontinue the Oberalp Pass car transport service.
