On Saturday, 19.11.2022 and Sunday, 20.11.2022 we will travel from Brig to Disentis and back. On the way we will spoil you with an 8-course menu including matching wines.

Please board: at 11 a.m. we ask you to take your seats in Brig. A holiday for your eyes, your palate and your stomach lies ahead of you. Pietro Catalano and his team will take you on a tasty journey through characteristic elements of the Aletsch Arena. A fantastic eight-course menu awaits you. The chef has matched his menu with the wines of the Domaines Chevalier winery.

Once in Disentis, walk to the Benedictine monastery for an atmospheric concert by singer Anik Casutt. ANIK is a 22-year-old newcomer from Graubünden. With her dreamy voice, she casts a spell over her listeners. The style can be described as Dark/Electro Pop.

Back on board the train of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, the tasty journey continues until you arrive back in Brig shortly before 7 pm.

Our chef: Pietro Catalano (Restaurant Riederfurka)

The 37-year-old Pietro Catalano from Zug is a trained musician and has self-directed his extraordinary cooking craft. The self-taught chef has been loyal to the Valais for some time now, and the half-Italian ran "Heidi's Hut" on the Fiescheralp for three seasons. Since June 2021, he has made his mark on the Riederfurka restaurant, which belongs to ALETSCH BAHNEN SA.

Take your time and let chef Pietro Catalano and his team spoil you with culinary delights. In June 2021, Pietro's cuisine was awarded 13 points by Gault&Millau and is currently one of the 800 best restaurants in Switzerland. Every dish on the menu tells its own story. Pietro's recipes are a tribute to his Italian origins, the Valais and Riederfurka. All creations are based on ingredients from sustainable and mostly organic sources.

Patrick Z'Brun and his team have been filling this noble winery with new spirit since 2008 - a great legacy: Vins des Chevaliers once flew out into the world on board Swissair. Drive, ideas, entrepreneurial spirit and, above all, enthusiasm for wine: Patrick Z'Brun, another lateral thinker, is now on board. One who knows the roots for which he is developing visions together with his team. A good wine, like a loving home, has a soul. Both can be experienced happier if we share them with others. The doors of the Domaines Chevaliers are open to you. 

The concert: ANIK

Anik is a music duo from Graubünden. It consists of the singer Anik Casutt and the drummer Joshua Bergamin. Anik's style can be described as dark/electropop. Influences from artists like Billie Eilish or Tash Sultana cannot be ignored. Anik Casutt sat behind the drums for the first time at the age of nine. Today, the Graubünden native mainly sings and writes songs. With her unmistakable voice, Anik gives expression to her feelings. She sings about what moves her, what scares her and what gives her hope. She reached third place at the renowned contest "BandXOst" 2021. Live she is on the road with her drummer as well as producer and her guitarist. The first single releases are planned for 2022.
