Rotenboden-Riffelberg (No. 113)

The winter fairy tale begins at Rotenboden, from where the winter hiking trail leads off to the left. The loop towards the Riffelhorn is the start of the great experience. Depending on the time of day, the Riffelhorn casts blue, cold shadows in winter. For a short time, you can feel how much the sun warms and how cold it can be in the shade.

Afterwards, the path leads up a small hill. The total wow effect. Because here the view of the Matterhorn is indescribably beautiful. In gentle switchbacks, it goes down to Riffelberg. Those with children can easily pull them on a sled.
