The Christmas Train – a festive Advent highlight

Amid the festive magic of Brig’s Advent season, the beautifully decorated Christmas Train invites you to gather with your loved ones and enjoy a cosy fondue experience. Step aboard a lovingly converted first-class carriage of the MGBahn, now transformed into a warm and welcoming restaurant right on Brig’s town square.
The project was created in collaboration with the Brig-Glis business association. The retired carriage has been carefully refurbished, adorned with atmospheric lighting and festive décor – a true eye-catcher and a new gem of Brig’s Advent celebrations.
Three fondue variations, a Valais platter, and two delicious desserts invite you to savour the season and enjoy the quiet magic of Advent.
