Experience has shown that in February and March long queues can be expected on Saturdays between 09:00 and about 15:00 hrs. We therefore recommend that you take the train before 09:00 hrs or after 15:00 hrs.
If there are traffic jams on the Gotthard A2 motorway, use the special "Andermatt" lane.
Cyclists and motor-cyclists
Cyclists and motor-cyclists must all be ready to board the train or load their vehicle 15 minutes before departure.
